I understand the children I will be enrolling in classes at Rainier Homeschool Group must be homeschooling according to the Washington State Home-Based Instruction Law and that full-time enrollment in any public school program (online or in person) disqualifies a student from enrollment in RHG. I have filed (or will file each year in September when my child turns 8) a Declaration of Intent to Homeschool (DOI) with my local school district. I understand part-time enrollment in public school is allowed, as long as the student is classified as a homeschool student and is being homeschooled by a parent.
Children under age 8 are exempt from filing a DOI, but the RHG eligibility requirements still apply (may not be enrolled full-time in any public school program).
I understand if it is discovered that my child is a full-time public school student during the semester, my child will be immediately removed from classes at RHG.
